City and guilds bicycle mechanic course

We are working hard to adapt our ways of working – and our workshop layout - to make it safe for people to learn under the current Government guidelines. The accredited 10-day course provides an industry standard qualification for professional mechanics.

IVQs in Motor Vehicle Engineering are for anyone outside the UK who wants to increase their skills as a motor vehicle mechanic or technician (we have a range of alternative options if you are based in the UK). Whether you are looking to progress as a mechanic or consolidate your learning, the Level course is a great benchmark.

This totally hands-on bike maintenance course is delivered from our Cockermouth Store workshop near Keswick in the Lake District and aims to save you money by showing you just how easy basic cycle maintenance really is. The Silver Award course focuses on adjusting and maintaining bike components. Silver is a pre-requisite for going onto the Gold course.
