The part is the same for both the Sand S2. Pre owne and when it was taken off the car it was working perfectly. Pull the stalk away towards the door, you will have the indicator unit in your hand. On the unit is a small circuit boar held on with screws, remove the screws. On the other side,of this circuit board are copper tracks and contacts.

I would take the whole steering wheel apart. When I last had mine off, it was quite easy to take the stalk out. Procedure is quite straightforwar disconnect the battery. Look for two little screws that are in the plastic shroud that covers the steering column. The indicator needs no modification to the standard indicator stalk as it simply bolts to it.
